In this episode, I referenced Eve Sedgwick's piece, "Paranoid Reading and Reparative Reading; Or, You're So Paranoid, You Probably Think This Essay Is About You." It is the fourth chapter of her book Touching Feeling: Affect, Pedagogy, Performativity (published in 2003 by Duke University Press).
I also quoted Bruno Latour's wonderful article, "Why Has Critique Run out of Steam? From Matters of Fact to Matters of Concern." This was published in Critical Inquiry (30.2) in 2004.
